View of the statue of Markgraf Johann (Hans) von Brandenburg-Küstrin at the Schlossfreiheit in Cüstrin (Küstrin, today's Kostrzyn), after its unveiling by Kaiser Wilhelm II on 24 October 1903. In the background is the Marienkirche. The bronze statue of the Count stands on a rectangular plinth against which several wreaths are placed. The Count is dressed in contemporary clothing, beret on the head and cloak to the knees. With his right hand, he leans on a pedestal on which a map of the fortress of Cüstrin is depicted. In the background on the right is an empty grandstand.
