The fishermen's tribute parade passes through Unter den Linden in Berlin, on 16 June 1913, on its way to the Stadtschloß where the imperial family is taking part in the union's parade from a balcony. The fishermen, in sailor suits, carry fishing nets. In the background the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität (today's Humboldt-Universität) and on the right the Neue Wache are still partly visible. The celebrations are taking place to mark the 25th anniversary of the Emperor's rule.
