View of the east side of the church of Curtea de Arges, towards the apse, in 1854. The walls are divided below with rectangular compartments containing narrow panels and windows. Above a protruding edge, the wall is divided by round arches on lintels, between which there are round panels and windows. Behind the apse, the crossing tower rises. Behind the church, some monastery buildings are visible.
